The Wells must travel to West Sussex on Tuesday evening after a 1-1 draw with Pagham.

Jake Beecroft missed a the opportunity to give The Wells the lead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time after Josh Biddlecombe was upended in the area. Beecroft however blazed his spot kick well over the bar.

Pagham took the lead on 47mins when George Cody’s shot squirmed passed Tommy Taylor in The Wells goal.

George Blake made it 2 in 2 as he equalised on 76mins.

The Wells return to The Culverden for their first competitive game of the new season on Saturday.
They welcome Pagham in the extra preliminary round of this seasons FA Cup.

Playing in the Southern Combination League, The Lions finished 11th last season after 38 games. Winning 11, drawing 12 and losing 15. They suffered defeat in their first league game of the new season, losing 2-0 away to AFC Uckfield Town last weekend.

Pagham made the second preliminary round of last seasons competition by beating K Sports in a replay 2-0 before bowing out 0-2 at home to Whitehawk.

The Wells got off to a winning start for Richard Styles’s first competitive game in charge with a wonderful away win at Sheppey Utd.

Josh Biddlecombe missed the opportunity to open the scoring for The Wells from the penalty spot on 30mins when his spot kick was well saved by Sheppey keeper Aaron Lee Wharton.

Biddlecombe made amends for his miss 5mins into the second half when he headed home Euan Sahadow cross.

TWFC - With pre season now completed, how happy are you with how the preparations have gone going into the new season?

The Wells begin their 19/20 campaign with a trip to Sheppey Utd.

The Ites finished last season in 7th and have been busy in the close season signing a number of high profile players including 4 ex Wells players from last seasons squad.

New Wells manager Richard Styles goes into his first competitive game with a new look Wells squad hoping to turn the fortunes of the royal town and improve on last seasons 16th position.

Due to having a number of injuries, Broadbridge Heath have cancelled the friendly we had scheduled with them Tuesday evening.

The Wells have been drawn away to Aylesford based K Sports in the first round of the Kent Senior Trophy. To be played on Saturday 19th October, Kick Off 3pm.

The fixtures for the 19/20 season have now been released. The Wells travel to Sheppey Utd on Saturday 3rd August for the opening day for what will be new manager Richard Styles’s first competitive game in charge.

The Wells first home game sees Fisher visit The Culverden on Saturday 17th August.

The Wells will finish their campaign away to Erith Town on Saturday 25th April 2020.

The Wells will face teams both from the Southern Combination League in their first games of the FA Cup and Vase.

The Wells host SCL Premier division side Pagham FC in the extra preliminary round on Saturday 10th August K.O. 3pm. The winners will travel to Haywards Heath Town.

The Wells will travel to SCL Division One side Littlehampton Town FC in the first qualifying round of this seasons FA Vase. To be played on Saturday 31st August K.O. 3pm. The winners of which will be away to Storrington Community or Knaphill on Saturday 14th September.

The Wells begin Pre Season on Saturday when they travel to The Abbey School In Faversham to face Bostik South East side Ramsgate, managed by former Wells centre half Nick Davis.

Tunbridge Wells Football Club are to sign Ryan Cheek, a young but experienced central defender formally of Lordswood who came through the youth set up at Faversham Town with over 100 club appearances.

Fjord Rogers is a 21 year old striker who broke into the Lordswood first team last season following a prolific period in the reserves. Fjord was also with both Bearsted and Faversham on youth terms.

Welcome to Tunbridge Wells FC Richard. Can you tell us what your footballing background is?

Thanks to everyone for supporting Party on the Pitch. Thanks to the brilliant bands who proved that Tunbridge Wells is a great place to see live music. Thanks also to the volunteers, without whom the event wouldn't have been possible. When we planned this event we hoped to deliver something that everyone could enjoy.
